Susan Galbraith has joined the Pavese Law Firm bringing more than 38 years of experience. Prior to joining Pavese Law Firm, Galbraith was the firm administrator for another local law firm where she managed the employees, facilities, technology management and human resources matters. Throughout Galbraith’s extensive career, she has served in prominent roles for high-profile law firms, as well as a real estate brokerage company in the Fort Myers area. Her previous titles have included chief operating officer, support services manager and IT director.
Galbraith has completed paralegal training courses through Edison State College, along with specialized computer and information technology courses to bring significant knowledge and improvements to the business operations for the companies she has served. While her interests include cooking, entertaining and gardening, Galbraith having been a life-long resident, also has a strong connection with the community. She has held a number of officer positions with the Lee County Legal Secretaries Association, fulfilled a Chair role with the Continuing Education Committee of the Florida Association of Legal Secretaries, volunteers with the Lee County Bar Association, and has been the Executive Director for the Calusa Inn of Court group since 2001. She has also previously served on the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball Committee and currently serves on the Board of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
The firm’s operating activities for three offices including revenue and growth, expense, costs and profitability, human resources, information technology, office services and facilities. She is also responsible for the firm’s Financial Management. She maintains custody, control and supervision of partnership financial books, payrolls and records; responsibility of Firm’s submittal of all local, state and federal tax reports, maintains Firm insurance, prepared management reports and supervises all accounting functions and systems. Maintains and handles the CLE hours.
Sheila has more than 30 years of experience working in law firms. She started with Pavese Law Firm in 1998 as an Assistant Office Manager handling Human Resources, Facilities and Marketing for the firm. Prior to joining Pavese Law Firm, she worked for a large and prominent Washington, DC law firm and for the Federal Election Commission.
Sheila earned her Paralegal/Legal Assistant Certificate from Prince George’s Community College.
Sheila Rash is responsible for the firm’s facilities, marketing, website, and special projects. She coordinates and handles all the firm functions.
Margie Hofer has more than 25 years as a network/billing systems supervisor. She grew up in Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts from Chatham College for Women in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, cum laude, with the distinction of Phi Beta Kappa membership. She has worked at the Smithsonian Institute’s National Collection of Fine Arts in Washington, D.C., the New Canaan, Connecticut Board of Education and for a Market Research firm in Miami, Florida before coming to Fort Myers. Her interests include native plant/butterfly gardening, hiking and bird watching as well as various crafts.
Supervisors the firm’s billing department and handles special projects within administration.
