Partner, Christina Harris Schwinn to speak at Florida Public Relations Association Meeting March 3

Ms. Schwinn will speak on the topic, “Student Internships: the Good, the Bad, and the Reality” at the Tuesday, March 3 luncheon meeting of the Florida Public Relations Association. The panel discussion will cover the legal, professional and practical aspects of internships from both the organizational and student view. Schwinn will discuss the legalities of bringing on interns, and she will participate in the discussion and a Q-and-A with Pam Nulman, APR, CPRC, a public relations professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, and Ellen Schiffer, an FGCU senior currently interning with Miromar Development.

The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at Six Bends Harley-Davidson, 9501 Thunder Rd. in Fort Myers. The cost is $30 for non-members, $25 for members and $15 for students. Registration is available at www.fpraswfl.org/event-registration/.
