Matthew B. Roepstorff – Associate
Matthew B. Roepstorff, a native of Florida and originally from Fort Myers, joined Pavese Law Firm in 2015. Mr. Roepstorff primarily focuses his practice in the areas of business law; civil litigation; and local government.
Mr. Roepstorff obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama where he majored in English and was a member of the English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL where he was on the Executive Board for the Mock Trial team. Mr. Roepstorff also served as Chief Justice of the Florida Coastal Honor Court in his third year.
Before joining Pavese Law Firm, Mr. Roepstorff was an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit in Lee County under Stephen B. Russell. In over 3 years at the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Roepstorff prosecuted thousands of misdemeanor and felony crimes taking place in Lee County with many of those cases resulting in jury trials and guilty verdicts.
Mr. Roepstorff is a member of The Florida Bar as well as the Lee County Bar Association. He is a member of the local Calusa American Inn of Court, serves on the school board for Bishop Verot High School, a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers, and serving on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida.
