Partner, Christina Harris Schwinn goes ‘Over the Edge’ to support Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida

To demonstrate their support of Junior Achievement, Christina Harris Schwinn and her husband Jim will participate in the first Over the Edge urban adventure fundraiser for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida. The fundraiser takes place on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples. Schwinn and other participants have pledged to raise at least $1,000 per person or $2,000 per couple for the chance to rappel down the side of the 18-story Naples Grande. Money raised during the event will be used to help Junior Achievement bring economic education programs to fifth-grade, eighth-grade and high school students in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.

“Jim and I can’t wait to participate in this amazing event,” Schwinn said. “It’s the most thrilling fundraising experience I can imagine, and it goes to a great cause that really teaches financial literacy skill to the students across Southwest Florida. It’s a great way to demonstrate your love for education, and I encourage others to support JA, too.”
In addition to the rappelling event itself, JASWFL will host a VIP cocktail party on Friday, Feb. 13. For more information, to register, support an edger visit www.jaswfl-overtheedge.com.
