Attorney Mary Vlasak Snell Honored as “Pro Bono Superstar”
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2024) – Pavese Law Firm is thrilled to announce that partner Mary Vlasak Snell is a recipient of the “For the Public Good” 2024 Lee County Bar Association Pro Bono Superstar Award. This honor recognizes her exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to providing pro bono legal services to our community.
The Lee County pro bono awards are celebrated annually. They recognize and honor lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to volunteer service and closing the gap for the individuals in Southwest Florida who need it most.
“I am truly honored to have received this recognition for providing volunteer legal services in estate planning and guardianship matters,” said Mary Snell. “It is a privilege to serve our citizens regarding matters of their security and well-being when they would not otherwise have access to legal representation.”
Ms. Snell is a partner in the Fort Myers office of Pavese Law Firm, practicing estate planning, probate and trust administration, and business law. She provides a full spectrum of services to individuals, families and businesses for estate planning and wealth transfer, including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, health care surrogate designations, living wills, and counsel regarding probate avoidance. She also provides individuals and corporate fiduciaries with probate and trust services, including administration and probate proceedings, distributing assets, assistance with minimizing taxes and protecting assets.
As a long-time member of the Board of Directors for United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties, Ms. Snell is on the Executive Committee, serving as Secretary and an Allocations Team Leader. She is also a former chairperson of Bishop Verot and St. Francis Xavier School Boards; a Finance Committee Member with St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church; a Sustainer Member with Junior League of Fort Myers; and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Community Foundation of Southwest Florida, Inc.
