Real estate experience or experience with land use matters or HOA’s helpful.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Collaborate with the real estate team to prepare Declarations of Covenants, handle governmental submittals, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and engineers.
- Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize documents under the direction of attorneys.
- Complete conflict checks, open files, and process time entries.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, files, records, and documents.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in land use, real estate or a related legal field, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing land use applications, zoning documents, and related legal materials.
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant information for land use cases.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and accessible.
- Coordinate and track deadlines for various filings, meetings, and hearings.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other legal documents as needed.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other attorneys to gather information and manage communications.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, hearings, and appointments.
- Manage billing, time entry, and other administrative tasks for the land use team.
- 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in land use, real estate, or a related practice area.
- Strong understanding of land use and zoning principles.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
