Law Firms Honored for Pro Bono Work
The Lee County Bar Association recently recognized a number of area firms for their pro bono work during the association’s Quarterly and Year-End Pro Bono Service Competition.
For the quarterly awards, which included complimentary services from June 1 through Aug. 31, Osterhout, McKinney & Prather; Lusk, Drasites, Tolisano & Smith, and John E. Evans III logged the top pro bono service hours.
In the year-end awards, for services between December and August, Wright & Shaw and Osterhout, McKinney & Prather, tied for first. Osterhout, McKinney & Prather was also recognized for the highest amount donated to legal services organizations. Attorney Brooke N. Bockemuehl was recognized for most individual hours donated and Diana L. Krueger was recognized as the individual lawyer with the largest financial amount donated to legal services organizations.
Honorable mentions went to Kathy K.B. Dupuy-Bruno of Eraclides, Johns, Hall, Gelman Johannessen & Goodman; Kinley I. Engvalson of Roberts & Engvalson; Ginine M. Hanco of Thompson Family Law, and Brian Williams of Cohen & Grigsby.
