The Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources (WLIANR) is renowned for shaping future leaders in the fields of agriculture, natural resources, and related areas. Every two years, WLIANR accepts candidate nominations for its prestigious leadership class, based on specific criteria and recommendations from industry leaders across Florida.
Hosted by the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) at the University of Florida, and housed within the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication, the program benefits from the guidance of an advisory council. This council, comprised of distinguished alums, industry experts, and university personnel, ensures the program remains relevant and impactful.
